Accredited Training Organization

Stage Cultuur Inclusief (SCI) aims to provide students and entry-level professionals with a safe internship or starting position. We strive to offer a good and secure working environment where interns and starters can gain experience in their field and learn about organizational work processes under proper (qualified) supervision. Therefore, we ask cultural institutions when registering job vacancies whether they are a recognized training company. This is not always mandatory.

Erkenning aanvragen

Vocational education, MBO [The Netherlands]

For vocational education (MBO) students, it is mandatory to complete the practical component of their training with a recognized training company. This recognition is granted by the ‘Samenwerkingsorganisatie Beroepsonderwijs Bedrijfsleven’ (SBB), where vocational education institutions and businesses collaborate to provide the best practical training for vocational students.

Would you like to have an MBO student as an intern and are not yet a recognized training company? This can be quickly arranged through the SBB (provided you meet the requirements). The procedure takes an average of 10 days and is entirely free of charge.

Higher Professional and University Education , HBO/WO [The Netherlands]
For internships at the higher professional (HBO) and university (WO) levels, accreditation is not mandatory. However, accreditation is possible through the ‘Erkenningen Leerbedrijven Hoger Onderwijs’ (ELBHO). The value of this recognition lies in the assessment of the internship’s quality by an independent party. Within this platform, internship experiences are shared, allowing educational institutions to stay informed about the experiences at an internship company. Recognition through this foundation is not free of charge.

Organizations wishing to apply for recognition can do so via the ELBHO through this link.
